Co-op agreements We understand co-op dues are $50/month per family via Venmo, month-to-month with no long-term contract. Only September is prorated ($37.50) — no other missed Friday, whether a scheduled break or an unplanned closure, is prorated or refunded. We also understand that, if accepted, there's a one-time $15/child registration fee toward general supplies for the year. We understand each camp is paid in full by its sign-up deadline at the beginning of the month it takes place, or the Friday before it starts, whichever comes first, that our child's spot isn't reserved until the fee is paid, and that after the deadline the fee is non-refundable — though a paid spot can be given to another Forge child if our plans change. We understand Forge runs a Friday volunteer rotation — roughly once every two and a half months, our family will be the on-duty parent alongside that day's instructor, for the full 10:00 AM–2:00 PM span (class time plus lunch and park play). If we need to reschedule, it's our responsibility to text and find another parent to cover for us. We understand co-op activities, including the play group, are for ages 6 and up. A younger sibling may only join us on days when their own parent is the on-duty volunteer. We understand kids may work with real tools and materials under instructor supervision — fire, knives, leather-working tools, kitchen equipment, and horses — and that hands-on activities carry some inherent risk.
