How we handle family information
Forge is a small homeschool co-op in Farmington, not a company selling ads. We only ask for what we need to know you, keep kids safe, and plan camps.
Who this is for
These forms are filled out by a parent or guardian. We do not ask children to submit their own information.
What you send us
Enrollment collects parent name, email, phone, city, homeschooling background, children’s names and ages, and why you’d like to join.
The family questionnaire (after acceptance) also collects birthdates, allergies, hobbies and interests, emergency contacts, pickup people, photo preference, and any medical notes you choose to share so we can plan food and activities safely.
The site also records a technical log (time, IP address, browser) so we can stop spam. We do not use that to profile families.
What we do with it
Maquell uses it to decide fit, email you back, plan camps and meals, and keep a volunteer / pickup / allergy list for Fridays. A copy is emailed to maquell@me.com and stored so she can look it up later.
We do not sell it, rent it, or use it for advertising. We do not share it with camp instructors beyond what they need for that block (for example, allergies for a cooking camp).
Photos
We only photograph kids if you said yes on the questionnaire — or we ask first, if that’s what you chose. Private co-op photos stay inside the group. They are not for public marketing unless we come back and ask you separately.
How long we keep it, and how to change it
We keep it for the school year we are planning, and a bit after so we can reach you about leftover details. If you want something corrected or deleted, email maquell@me.com. Say which family, and she’ll take it out of the inbox and the site records.
Where it lives
The website runs on Cloudflare at forge.maquell.com. Forms are stored there and emailed to Maquell. This is not a public directory of children.
